Lake Palo Verde

Awhile back we had a pretty big storm here – not as big as in other parts of the country, but big for us.  Lots and lots of rain fell and we had many big fun puddles to play in.  It also rained inside our home but that is a story for another day.

We decided to go to our local elementary school.  Since we had just been there picking up my youngest, we knew there were some VERY nice puddles just waiting to be jumped in.

Riding through the puddles was fun too!

The water was pretty deep – see how it is half way up the bicycle wheels?

Splashes.

Lots and lots of splashing.

What you can’t see is that both myself and G and our dog were all also wading through the puddles.

Beautiful, warm, tasty hot chocolate.

No better way to end an evening spent jumping in cold puddles, than to drink hot chocolate :o)
