Look what I found in the garden this morning!
I am finally done with the knitting of this Shawl! I have decided to add a crochet edging for a more finished look.
I love this little guy!
This is as far as I could go because I ran out of thread. What a great learning opportunity for class today – how to add thread in the middle of a project!
I am totally loving my bobbin Lace class!!
Snake Bookmark start.
Bobbin Lace sampler finish.
Look what my daughter painted for me!
I am one lucky mamma!!
Another fun Monday hike with friends at the dish.
We saw cattle.
Lovely green grass and trees.
It was a fabulous morning!!!
Picked this up again to play while watching Ultimate Frisbee.
I’m not sure why I put this down, but I’m really enjoying knitting on this today.
I finally finished both the sleeves and the body of this cardigan and was able to put everything all on one long circular needle.
Then I stalled out for a bit while figuring out all the decreases. Well, yesterday at my knitting group, I had time to really look at the directions and now know what to do!! After knitting several rows, it looks fabulous and it feels great to be in the home stretch of this project!!!
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these cables!!
Last night’s dinner was really yummy!! I broke out my new Instapot and worked a little magic.
I made Carrot and Cardamom Soup from Nom Nom Paleo, Cracklin’ Chicken also from Nom Nom Paleo, Roasted Beets (from the garden) with homemade vinaigrette, and sautéed broccoli and cauliflower.
Everyone really enjoyed the meal. And I got to use my fresh beets – score!!
These are the beets in their sauce!
This is “Magic Mushroom Powder”. This is the spice combination used on the Cracklin’ Chicken and the recipe is in the Nom Nom Paleo book. I can tell you this mixture really added to the flavor of the chicken. This was a super winner, dinner!!
