This is where I was last time…
An this is where I am right now!
I managed to stitch on this quite a bit this month and I am pretty pleased with my progress. There was also some…
Stitching… And… Un-stitching! I was only off by one space and I thought about leaving it there but I just couldn’t do it! It would have really bothered me.
About the SAL in case you would like to join us
This SAL (Stitch Along) is slightly different to other SALs in that we don’t all stitch the same design at the same rate. We choose ONE unfinished project, or ONE new one, and show progress of its completion over a series of three weekly updates. There are no deadlines and no set amount to stitch. The result is that the space in our drawers full of WIPs (works in progress) is gradually being freed up to store lots of new crafty goodness. It’s surprising how much motivation I’ve gained from being in this SAL. If you’d like to finish a project you’ve left unfinished for a while, or start a new one with us, you can join us by contacting Avis from Sewing Beside the Sea.

Been there, done that! You have made significant progress this round, it is coming along nicely!
Thanks so much! I feel like I have really gotten into a rhythm right now.
Great progress! Sorry you had to unstitch, that’s never any fun. The border down the middle intrigues me as I’ve forgotten what the final piece looks like.
I’ll try to remember to post a picture of what it will look like at the end the next time we do a SAL post.
Aw, thanks Connie 😊
I had to do some in stitching this week too…
You still got lots of stitching done and in the end, you will be glad you fixed the mistake.
Yes, I don’t seem to be able to leave mistakes in my project. Sorry you had to un-stitch as well.
Un-stitching….not in stitching!
Great progress, despite the un-stitching 🙂
Thanks!
That’s a lot done despite the reverse-action stitching!
Thanks! I was sort of in a rhythm and then just mis-counted.
You’ve done great even with the frogging. Love those rich colours!
Thank you!
Great job so far
Thanks so much.
Good progress!
Thanks!
lovely! keep going and you’ll be finished in time for Christmas!
I sure hope so!
You’ve got a lot done! It’s a beautiful piece, too. 🙂
Thank you!
Aaah reverse stitching! Great progress though.
Great progress, in spite of the un-sewing! You did the right thing though. To leave it would have made you gone crazy 🙂
Looks like you’re making good progress! Here’s to another productive 3 weeks!
Looks great. You have made quite a lot of progress.
I would of taken the one stitch off out too. I un-stitch a lot, because one no else would notice but it bugs me 😜
