September SAL Update

This is the first time using WordPress’ new look and I am NOT one for changes. The other way was so much easier!!

Oh, well, I guess I better get used to it!! This is where I was the last time we updated in August.

August SAL Update

This is where I am now.

September SAL Update

I have been working on the toe area a little bit each day. I have worked on other areas, but not a lot. Just when I have a bit of thread left over from a toe area and an easily accessible area somewhere else that calls for the same color thread.

I am so grateful to take part in this SAL. The members of the SAL all work on their own project and post progress each month. I love being a part of this talented and supportive group of stitchers. If you’d like to join us, please contact AVIS – her link is below. And please take a look at the other stitchers taking part in this SAL.

  1. Wow lovely! I am excited to see Christmas themed stuff 🙂

  2. Lovely rich reds in this stocking. It’s gorgeous! I write my blog posts using Windows Live Writer as it’s so much easier than WordPress editor I think. In Live Writer it’s just a case of writing the title, the main body of post adding pictures as you go and then along the bottom of the screen, tick categories, tags and choose a date and time to publish. It’s all on one screen. I’d never go back now.

  3. didn’t notice the little bird last time, looking in through the window – so cute ^^

  4. Super cute…love the little bird!

Dreading switching to the new WordPress format! 🙂

  5. You’re making progress and its looking good. Funny you mentioned the new wordpress format. I was so upset with the change. I tried to change back (which they said you could do) but I couldn’t figure it out, so it was my first posting with the new format too. UGH 🙂

  6. Blogger just updated and changed things also. Not easy getting used to everything that has been changed. Your stocking is looking great!

  7. I’ve had the new format for a while now, but I too was unhappy when it changed on me. I’m use to it now, it gets easier 🙂 Lovely progress, the seam is starting to blend in. I couldn’t find it at first!

  8. You are not alone in your disgruntlement. Blogger has also made changes that some of us are having a hard time adapting to. Sometimes there’s just no way to win! Meanwhile, your stitching is coming along nicely. I hope you can continue to find peace with your needle and thread.

  9. You’ve filled in quite a bit, and that mend is disappearing nicely!

  10. Love seeing your progress on this, it is coming along nicely!

  11. Great progress! I have said some bad words when trying to write on the new wordpress editor. I found it so hopeless 😦

  12. Likewise I didn’t appreciate the change in WordPress but have got used to it now. Your stitching is coming along nicely.

  13. Well! Good progress! Even on Blogger we had to adapt to the new program! Still patience ..
    Hugs,Carmela

  14. I haven’t done much with wordpress, but as others have said Blogger just did a big change and it took me a while to get the hang of it! Love the progress on the stocking!
