HQAL Update for October

I’ve done a fair amount of stitching on the Grandmother’s Flower Garden:

4 flowers completed!

One of these flowers was almost done, the rest were completed for this three week update.

This one is in process. I’m in love with those cute little owls!

This is my favorite from this batch of flowers.

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another.  If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.

  1. You’re doing a beautiful job on this ‘flower garden’ Connie. Those owls are adorable but those lemons are a real bright spot. I love your choice of fabrics.

  2. Your flower garden blocks are so unique and cute! Lots of work involved in fussy cutting and then hand sewing them together! Hugs

  3. The owls are cute, it always makes the quilt more special when someone takes the time to do some fussy cutting. Happy stitching!

  4. Those owls are darling! You have made great progress

  5. The owls are cute but the blue block with monster brought on a chuckle.

  6. Love your blocks, especially those owls! Great work, and Happy Stitching!

  7. I love how the flowers transform the novelty prints into beautiful flowers, I love the Owls too!
