November HQAL Update

It’s time to update on the Grandmother’s Garden Quilt for the hand-quilt-a-long. This time I did spend some time with her:

This is the new layout. I’m almost done with the green “vines” for the first strip and have the second one ready to attach.

This is how it will lie on the table. Thank you everyone who has been so encouraging as I’ve been working through what to do with this. Taking it apart and putting it back together was definitely the right decision.

This Hand Quilt Along is an opportunity for hand quilters and piecers to share and motivate one another. We post every three weeks, to show our progress and encourage one another.  If you have a hand quilting project and would like to join our group contact Kathy at the link below.

I’m also sharing at Kathy’s Quilts for Slow Sunday Stitching. It’s so funny because Sunday is not generally a day I can stitch. The hubby has no work and the kids have no school so we can usually be found out and about hiking or playing games or something else like that. My stitching is usually during the week.
